ARMOIRE Traveling man leather neck wallet.
Marcus Troy, our founder has always been very picky when it came to his wallets. Over the years he’s searched high and low for the perfect wallet that would work for his style aesthetic and his functional needs. For years Marcus always used his favorite wallet from Japanese brand Visvim as his go to piece, even purchasing it over 5 different times. When came time to create a piece for his brand, he worked with a local artisan to create a sample of what an ARMOIRE wallet could look and feel like. He was inspired by neck wallets and subtle branding in high quality leather. Something that was versatile but still inline with his style aesthetic. After a few iterations a sample was born, that was supposed to be part of an ongoing project that unfortunately did not come to fruition.
Fast forward a few years later, Marcus wanted to improve and reiterate the OG sample and make the perfect wallet, so he went back to the drawing board. Marcus found the perfect artisans that could bring this neck wallet to life. Upgrading from the previous sample and idea, they were able to achieve the perfect embodiment of what an ARMOIRE wallet should look and feel like.
We are proud to present the Traveling Man wallet.
The black leather used for the main wallet is black English bridle vegetable tan leather from Wickett & Craig of America. The rope is Black Kodiak Oil-Tanned Leather made out if the full hide.
Any blemishes, or marks on the leather is part of the character of the leather.
The wallet has separate pockets on each side that don’t touch. 1 side for cash and 1 side for credit cards. The C and CC embossed insignia is for the identification of the compartments. You can hold at least 8 cards on one side and about 30 to 40 folded bills. You can wear it on your neck or cross body like Marcus does. It’s great for traveling and tucking it inside of your clothing if you want to feel more protected.
This piece is for both men and women.
Hope you love it as much as we do.
