So much of history has erased the contribution or the plight of African Americans in culture. When you think of AMERICANA , you rarely see images of the black people who contributed, built or pioneered in specific spaces. Lately we’ve been fascinated with Black Cowboys and their place in history. We wanted to tell the story by showcasing imaginary of some of these heroes and how we imagine them.
