We commissioned an artist to paint an interpretation of an iconic photographed of one of the first black Hockey Team nicknamed black ice. The story has not been told enough in mainstream media and we know that black hockey players are often ridiculed for playing this sport. Some of the technics that were pioneered by this group of men are still being played in todays game.  In the continuation of our PWTSWC series, we present to you black ice.
